Unfortunately, our payment processing is set up to only process refunds (and switch courses) within 14 days of purchasing. Our system was programmed that way because on day 15 we start processing the payments for our affiliates and instructors so any refund after 14 days is automatically rejected.
We make our 14-day refund policy as clear as possible in the introduction course, on the course page, on the purchase page, on the checkout page, in the terms of service, and in our FAQs. We also make requesting a refund very easy as we have a Contact Us link in the footer of every website page.
The payment plan is not a subscription and cannot be canceled or placed on hold. Before submitting the Purchase button, everyone must agree to our Terms & Conditions which states "When choosing the payment plan to purchase a course, you agree to allow CourseCareers to automatically charge your bank card a total of four recurring payments every two weeks. This consists of your initial payment plus three more payments. If a payment fails we will automatically retry processing your card." You can think of the payment plan as CourseCareers loaning you the money to pay for the course and you have to pay CourseCareers back in 4 bi-weekly payments. It would be much like a bank loan and like a bank loan, you just can't tell the bank that you want to cancel the loan and not pay the loan back.
Also, deleting your account will NOT deactivate the payment plan and your card will continue to be charged according to the payment plan terms.
If your account is completely paid for, congratulations, you have unlimited access to your course as long as CourseCareers is in business.
Maybe right now is not the right time for you to take the course. No worries. You can leave and come back when you are ready. You can retake the lessons and the quizzes as many times as you want. The final exam is required to be taken within one year of your purchase date.
Maybe you will change your mind about the course. Some people get buyer's remorse and anxiety wondering if they made the right decision to take the course. For those in the tech sales course, the good thing is that the information you are learning in the course can be carried over to other careers and everyday life. Many graduates have used the sales techniques they were taught in the course to apply for positions, get interviews, and ultimately land a position.
