If, after you sign in to CourseCareers and you are on the My Courses page and you can no longer have the Continue Course button, but instead, you have the Purchase Course button, there are three main reasons this could happen.
-
Make sure you are signing in with the same email address that you were signed in with when you purchased the course regardless if you used a different email address on the course checkout page. The only exception is if you have gone to your Profile > Manage account page and changed your email address. In that case, you must be signing in with your updated email address.
- If you are enrolled in a payment plan, make sure your payment has not failed. You will only start receiving payment renewal failed notices 12 hours after your payment has failed, however, your course access will be removed immediately when your payment fails. Our payment system will automatically keep trying to charge your credit card until a successful payment is made. Once the payment is successful, you will have access to your course again and can continue where you left off. You can manage your payment plan to make a payment or change credit cards by going to your Account page.
- On your Account page, make sure you have the correct Selected Career Path set. If not, click the correct career path to set it.
99.9% of the time, it is one of the issues above, but if none of them apply to you, you can try the following:
- Sign out and close all windows and tabs that are opened to the CourseCareers website and then sign out and sign back in.
- Open an incognito window and sign in to CourseCareers. If you can access your course that way, then clear your browser’s cache and cookies for CourseCareers and try signing back in using a normal window.
